Beer Bread

This is one of our favorite family recipes. We love it because of the crust! Its salty,  sweet, and only 4 ingredients.  Everyone I know who has every tried this bread has asked for the recipe. We serve it a lot when guests come over because it is so quick and is a huge crowd pleaser.  If you don’t feel comfortable using a beer product I have heard that you can use Sprite, but I have never tried that. We just use O’douls non-alcoholic beer.

Beer Bread

3 cups of self rising flour

1/4 cup butter

1/3 cup sugar

1 bottle of O’douls non-alcholic beer

Combine flour, sugar, and beer. Butter bread pan and pour in batter. Pour melted butter over top. Bake at 375 for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
